I Like Angelina now?! – Jersey Shore 2 Episode 1
The season two premiere of Jersey Shore had a lot to live up to. More than 5.3 million people tuned in, up 300% from the first series opener.
While it had some pretty amusing moments, the episode was kind of slow in comparison to the crazy shit that went down each episode last season. Half of the screen time in the premiere showed the castmembers driving to Miami, where this season is set.

The Situation and DJ Pauly D decided to roadtrip it. In perhaps the most contrived scene of the night, the two get bogged down in mud and call for help. They inexplicably wanted to set off some fireworks in the middle of nowhere?!

Charice is a teen botox queen? WTF!
Okay, so in my last post I wrote about how Charice was prepping herself for her role on Glee with some acting and accent lessons.
Well it turns out that’s not all she’s been doing to prepare for the show apparently.
According to People magazine, Charice has also been injecting herself with botox! Some “celebrity cosmetic surgeon” from the Philippines claims that the procedure was done to alter the singer’s round face (why are plastic surgeons celebrities in the Philippines?)
Meanwhile, Charice’s reps say she’s actually getting botox as medical treatment to relieve jaw problems.
Pyramid is now an Australian top 50 ‘hit’ single!
Charice has finally entered Australia’s official ARIA top 50 music charts this week at number #48. Hopefully this news pleases Sasha from this post 
While it might be a stretch calling Pyramid a “hit” per say, at least the song has gone top fifty! lol
Speaking of career milestones, the singer will reportedly begin shooting her recurring role on Glee in just ten days (July 28).
Janet did not have a “Good Time” appearing on hit 70s show
Janet Jackson blames the hit 1970s sitcom, Good Times, for messing with her mind psychologically.
What’s up with old family sitcoms always ending up being revealed as secret cesspools of debauchery and scandal?
2010 Emmy nominees and my favourites
Joel McHale and Sofia Vergara announced the Emmy nominations this morning. As predicted, Glee‘s Jane Lynch was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series while the show itself scored 19 nominations overall.
May’s Francis Fares regular, Chris Colfer, was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Unfortunately July’s current regular, Jersey Shore, failed to get nominated for Outstanding Reality Program.
Anyways, congrats guys!

Charice debuts on Aussie charts!
Since a lot of people tweeted and viewed my last post about Charice in Australia, I thought I’d post a quick update for you guys!
Pyramid has debuted at no. 77 on Australia’s ARIA music charts this week, selling 1079 copies.
18 JULY UPDATE: This week, the song moves up to no. #48.
It’s too early to start celebrations though. The song has still yet to enter the country’s main official TOP 50 singles charts. But at least she’s finally getting somewhere! lol
